Lucare AG is a small Zurich company with two cars and permanent chauffeurs. That is not modesty, it is the reason the journeys run the way they do: we cannot take on unlimited work, so we take on the work we can carry out reliably.

The same chauffeur each time

On regular work the chauffeur soon knows your habits: which route, what temperature, whether there is conversation or not. A booking platform cannot reproduce that.

Discreet

What stays in the car, stays there

The cars carry no advertising. The chauffeur will drive without conversation if you prefer. Calls taken in the back are an ordinary part of the day and go unremarked.

One per-kilometre rate, two minimum fares, no night surcharge. How the price is built and what it covers is set out openly on the price page.

Zurich airport transfer

Met with a name board in the arrivals hall, 60 minutes of waiting time after landing included. We follow the flight number and move the pick-up ourselves.

A framework agreement with monthly invoicing instead of loose receipts, a cost centre on every journey, roadshows with several stops in a day.

No mixed fleet and no surprise at the kerb. You book the car you see here. The per-kilometre rate is the same for both — the decision comes down to people and luggage.

Latest generation. The choice for business appointments and airport transfers, when you want to work or take calls on the way.

Questions about the chauffeur service

What is the difference between a chauffeur service and a taxi?
Three things. The price is settled before the journey rather than after it. The car and the chauffeur are agreed in advance rather than assigned. And the car is there at the time you arranged, instead of being called once you are already outside. A taxi is built for spontaneous trips, a chauffeur service for planned ones.
Is it always the same chauffeur?
Yes. We do not pass journeys to subcontractors. On regular work the chauffeur soon knows your habits — which route, what temperature, whether there is conversation or not. A booking platform cannot reproduce that.
Which vehicles are available?
A latest-generation Mercedes S-Class for up to three passengers and a Mercedes V-Class for up to seven, with seats that can face each other. No mixed fleet: you book the car you see on this website.
Where do you drive?
Zurich and the surrounding area as the core, and the whole of Switzerland beyond it — Lucerne, Bern, Basel, Davos, St. Moritz, Zermatt, Geneva. We also drive across the border, regularly to Milan, Munich, Stuttgart and Innsbruck.
How late can I book?
For journeys in and around Zurich, three hours' notice is usually enough. Long distances, weddings and WEF week in Davos want more lead time; WEF week is regularly full months in advance.
How discreet is the journey?
What is said in the car stays there. The cars carry no advertising, and the chauffeur will drive without conversation if you prefer. For corporate clients we record preferences once and keep to them on every journey.
Can I be invoiced?
Yes. Alongside TWINT, card and cash, payment on account is possible, due within ten days. Corporate clients on a framework agreement receive a monthly invoice with a cost centre and internal reference per journey.
