What we process
We collect only what a journey requires. Through the enquiry form that is:
- name, e-mail address and phone number
- pick-up and destination address, date and pick-up time
- preferred vehicle, number of passengers
- flight number, if this is an airport transfer
- anything you volunteer in the free-text field, such as a child seat or ski luggage
- the indicative price the calculator on this website showed you
When you open the website, our hosting provider logs technically necessary details: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type. These logs serve operation and the prevention of misuse.
Purpose and legal basis
We process your details to answer your enquiry, plan the journey and perform the contract, and to meet statutory retention duties. The basis is the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG); for people in the EU, additionally the GDPR. We do not use your details for advertising and do not pass them on for that purpose.
Who sees the data
Within Lucare AG, only whoever dispatches or drives the journey. Outside: our hosting provider Hostinger International Ltd., which runs the website and delivers the form messages. Hostinger runs data centres in several locations; the one chosen for this website is [enter the location — shown in the Hostinger account under Hosting → Details]. To calculate driving distances for freely entered addresses we send the start and destination address to Google Maps Platform (Google Ireland Limited). Only the address is sent — not your name and not your contact details.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become a journey are deleted after twelve months. Records of journeys carried out — the order, the invoice, the receipts — are kept for ten years; article 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations requires this and we cannot depart from it. Liability claims lapse after ten years under article 127 of the same code, and the related records may be needed for that long. Calculated driving distances are stored on our server for 30 days so the same route need not be queried twice; those records contain no personal data.
Cookies, fonts, statistics
This website sets no cookies for advertising or analytics. It loads no external fonts and no scripts from third-party servers — everything the browser needs comes from our own address. That is why you see no consent banner here. Any evaluation of visitor numbers is done from server logs and without personal reference.
Your rights
You may request information about the data we process, have it corrected or deleted, and ask for it to be handed over. A short message to the address above is enough; we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may approach the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Data security
The website runs exclusively encrypted over HTTPS. Access credentials are held outside the publicly reachable area. The enquiry form is protected against automated misuse.
