What a journey costs,
before you get in.

One per-kilometre rate, two minimum fares, one hourly rate — there is no more arithmetic behind it than that. No meter, no night surcharge, nothing added afterwards.

How the price is built

Three numbers, and that is all

You should be able to check what you are paying. So the arithmetic is set out here — and the calculator above does nothing other than what this section describes.

Per kilometre

CHF 5.50 / km

The same for both vehicles. What separates the S-Class from the V-Class is room and luggage, not the kilometre. We count the road distance actually driven, not the straight line.

Minimum fare

CHF 140.43 / CHF 129.72

S-Class and V-Class. It carries short journeys up to about 25 kilometres — an airport transfer into the city sits inside that. The per-kilometre rate only takes over above it.

Per hour

CHF 150.00

Hourly charter, two hours minimum. Car and chauffeur stay with you and waiting time in between is included. Worth it from about three stops in a day.

Book the return leg at the same time and the second journey costs 20 per cent less. There is no night surcharge: a four in the morning pick-up costs what a four in the afternoon pick-up costs.

Value added tax

Every price on this site is a final price including VAT. Swiss law requires that for private customers; we do the same for companies.

Vignette, tolls and parking

The motorway vignette and airport parking are covered. On journeys abroad the same goes for foreign vignettes and toll roads.

Waiting time at the airport

60 minutes from the actual landing. We follow the flight number you give us and move the pick-up ourselves when the aircraft is late.

Waiting time elsewhere

15 minutes at every other pick-up point. On hourly charter, waiting inside the booked hours is included anyway — the car stays with you.

Luggage and child seats

Luggage within the vehicle's capacity. Child seats are fitted on request — tell us the age and height in the enquiry so the right one is already in the car.

The same chauffeur

We do not pass journeys to subcontractors. Whoever collects you is the person you arranged it with.

Waiting beyond the free time

After the included 60 or 15 minutes we charge pro rata at the hourly rate, in quarter-hour steps.

Money we lay out for you

Entrance fees or tolls we pay on your behalf en route appear on the invoice at cost.

Surcharges agreed in advance

If something falls outside the standard, we say so with the confirmation and not afterwards. Nothing is added without it.

Special cleaning

Soiling that needs a special clean is invoiced at cost. In practice it almost never comes up.

Choosing a vehicle

S-Class or V-Class

The per-kilometre rate is identical. The decision comes down to people and luggage — and on short journeys to the minimum fare, which is a little lower in the V-Class.

Up to 3 passengers

Mercedes S-Class

For business appointments and airport transfers. Minimum fare CHF 140.43. The back seat is quieter than most meeting rooms.

 Up to 7 passengers

Mercedes V-Class

For groups, luggage and ski gear. Minimum fare CHF 129.72. Seats face each other so a team can actually work on the way.

Day trips and long distances

Lucerne, Zermatt, St. Moritz, Milan. Fixed price including the return — we do not invoice empty kilometres separately.

How it is settled

Four ways to pay

TWINT, the usual credit cards, cash in the car, or on account. You choose and we follow.

Invoices within ten days

Invoices are payable ten days from the invoice date without deduction, with your internal reference on every line if you want it.

Corporate clients

On a framework agreement, one monthly invoice instead of a pile of receipts, with a cost centre per journey. The corporate page explains how it works.

For long distances, multi-day bookings and WEF week we may ask for a deposit. If we do, it is in the confirmation — not later.

Questions about price

What does a chauffeur in Zurich cost?
The price follows the route, not the clock. Up to roughly 25 kilometres the minimum fare applies: CHF 140.43 in the S-Class, CHF 129.72 in the V-Class. Beyond that it is CHF 5.50 / km for both vehicles. Zurich airport into the city therefore comes to CHF 140 or CHF 130.
Is the price fixed?
The figure in the calculator is a guide price. It becomes binding with our written confirmation, which states the vehicle, pick-up point, pick-up time and final price. From then on it holds — even if traffic makes the journey longer than planned. The detail is in clause 2 of the terms.
Is there a night or weekend surcharge?
No. The same rate applies around the clock, at weekends and on public holidays. A four in the morning pick-up costs what a four in the afternoon pick-up costs. That is deliberate: an early flight is the most common reason anyone needs a chauffeur at all.
What does hourly charter cost?
CHF 150.00 per hour for either vehicle, two hours minimum. Car and chauffeur stay with you and waiting time within the booked hours is included. It pays off as soon as a day has several stops.
How is the return journey priced?
Book the return leg at the same time and it costs 20 per cent less; there is a tick box for it in the calculator above. On long-distance work we quote a fixed price that already includes the return — we do not invoice empty kilometres separately.
What does a journey abroad cost?
The same per-kilometre rate applies, and foreign vignettes and tolls are inside the fixed price. We drive regularly to Milan, Munich, Stuttgart and Innsbruck. For those routes an enquiry beats the calculator: we can then price the return and the waiting time with it.
How can I pay?
TWINT, the usual credit cards, cash in the car, or on account. Invoices are payable within ten days. Corporate clients on a framework agreement receive one monthly invoice with a cost centre and internal reference.
What happens if I have to cancel?
Written cancellation more than 24 hours before the agreed pick-up time is free. Between 24 and 4 hours we charge 50 per cent of the agreed price, later than that or for a no-show, 100 per cent. Multi-day bookings and WEF week carry a 14-day deadline, because they tie up a car and a chauffeur for several days. Clause 4 of the terms has the detail.
